Welcome back to the second semester - if your new year’s resolution is to spend your student loan more wisely then you have come to the right place; tickets to all our Sonic Card events are still just £3!
| Haydn | Symphony no.39 |
| Stravinsky | Pulcinella |
| Beethoven | Violin Concerto |
| Richard Farnes | conductor |
| Valeriy Sokolov | violin |
This concert features a musical exchange across the centuries which inspired Stravinsky’s classically influenced Pulcinella, the expressive symphony by Haydn and Beethoven’s gloriously lyrical Violin Concerto.
This evening why not come along at 6.30pm to join Tom Pankhurst for our Talking Point to take a look at the artistic exchanges present in Stravinsky’s work. This evening’s Talking Point will provide an enlightening insight into the work of the Russian composer.
This evening young Ukrainian violinist, Valeriy Sokolov, will be taking centre stage. Gifted with spontaneity and ardour, Valeriy will bring his own charm to the concert.
If you are able to attend Classical Exchanges then you can look forward to an animated, meaningful programme which is sure to be a very enjoyable concert.
As always, Camerata staff and student networkers will be on hand before the concert if you need help buying tickets or would like to sign up to become a member of the sonic card scheme.
The Sonic Card is free to join!! Join online or come to one of our events and sign up on the spot...
