French musician Ludovic Morlot is quickly establishing a reputation as one of the leading conductors of his generation. This March he returns to The Bridgewater Hall with the BBC Philharmonic to interpret his fellow countryman Claude Debussy’s orchestral masterwork, La mer, a symphonic portrait of the sea.
He is joined by pianist Steven Osborne for Britten’s Piano Concerto who has won great acclaim for his interpretations of this piece:

This concert will be broadcast LIVE on BBC Radio 3.
